On 21 March we celebrate 20 years of independence of Namibia. Here is a list of twenty things to thank the Lord for
- Peace and stability
- Democracy
- Religious freedom
- Overwhelming Christian nation
- Freedom of speech and press
- Racial tolerance, friendly and special people everywhere
- The Namib, the oldest desert in the world
- Lots of sunshine
- The big five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino
- Welwitschia Mirabilis, a unique Namib Desert plant, 'unlike any known plant on earth'
- Lots of fresh air (no pollution)
- Wide opens spaces
- Wild animals free roaming
- Wild horses of the Namib desert
- Rain and fabulous sunsets
- Good infrastructure
- Well stocked shop shelves
- Unlimited potential
- Large natural resources
- Vision 2030, a plan for prosperity, harmony, peace and stability in Namibia
