WOMEN WORLD DAY OF PRAYER 2013

The Women World Day of Prayer is a worldwide movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year, and who, in many countries, have a continuing relationship in prayer and service.

The motto of the annual Women World Day of Prayer is “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action”.

The theme for the World Day of Prayer 2013 on the first Friday of March is “I Was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me,” based on the Gospel text of Matthew 25.

This year's prayer booklet was written by the women of France.
