FREEDOM, JUSTICE AND PEACE

On March 1 and 2 the nine opposition parties will have the opportunity to tell the High Court what proof they have to challenge the results of both the presidential and the National Assembly elections of 2009. In the mean time I have been told that there is a very good working relationship between all parties involved in the court case. Praise God!

President Pohamba assured the world that
Namibia values the rule of law and an independent judiciary and that the judgment in the pending case would be taken seriously by Government. Both Pohamba and the Speaker of Parliament, Theo-Ben Gurirab, said that the High Court ruling would be accepted.

Praise God
that Namibia has since Independence 20 years ago put all these democratic systems in place, among them an independent judiciary.

Praise God for a government who submits to our constitution which gives recognition that the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace.

Let us trust God that the way this case will be debated, judgment delivered and the way all will accept the outcome, will speak to Africa and the world.

Let us continue to believe that God has called Namibia to be an example of His way of doing Kingdom Business!
Let us also pray that Namibians will realize that the real and true foundation of freedom, justice and peace is found in a daily relationship with God, through Jesus Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

To them God has chosen to make known the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27
