NAMIBIA: GLOBAL LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

This week-end on 6 and 7 November 2009 more than 400 leaders from all over Namibia will gather at Walvisbay for the Global Leadership Summit 2009.

In the face of escalating human need our country calls out for leaders who will persevere: who will maintain their character, integrity, and resolve.
We hold a deep belief that if you change a church leader, you can change a church, and if enough churches start changing, you can change an entire region, country, and eventually the world!

Bill Hybels writes: Show me a leader with a growing heart of faith in God and a gradually improving set of leadership skills, and I’ll show you someone who can put the enemy on the run! The fact that we are in a battle is inescapable. The question is, what battle would you rather be in, and who would you rather be in it with? For myself, fighting for the local church and ensuring it achieves its redemptive potential with other Christ-following brothers and sisters is the highest marching order I could ever receive.

Trust the Lord that the leaders will return from this summit with fire in their hearts. Please pray that every leader in Namibia would take their role seriously, and would arm themselves for the battle around them and live their mission as the Spirit gives grace and power.
