Remember his words!

The sign on the door of the Garden tomb just outside the old city of Jerusalem says it all.

He is not here;
He has risen!

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ Then they remembered his words. Luke 24:1-8

Jesus said to her, "I am
the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies." John 11:25

With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all
. Acts 4:33

Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God - the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God, by his
resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 1:1-4

Join us in prayer as we praise God for the words and deeds of Jesus Christ and the declaration of the Holy Spirit. Pray that we will also remember and proclaim the gospel with great power in this beautiful country and all over the world:
Jesus is the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Him will live, even though he dies.
