In April we will be married for 35 years. We agree with Ronald P. Hutchcraft: The number one secret of great parenting is to make sure you are keeping your marriage promises. God provides a direct linkage between your marriage and your children.

What does (the Lord) want? Godly children from your union. So guard yourself in your heart; remain loyal to the wife of your youth. Malachi 2:15 NLT

The connection between a thriving marriage and thriving children should come of no surprise to anyone. The overwhelming evidence supports what God is communicating here: Do you want great children? Remain loyal to your wife, and guard your heart. You can easily make a case to support the antithesis of this: Do you want your children to turn out poorly?
