JOYCE MEYER - HIGH EXPECTATIONS

Everywhere volunteers are running around to finalize the hall and arrangements for tomorrow's Leadership Conference with Joyce Meyer, Phil Dooley and Matt Fry. Boxes and boxes of books are ready - each person who registered will get three copies of books by Joyce. Tonight volunteers will be trained.

Inside the hall Hillsong SA is practicing, doing sound checks and checking all the technical stuff. There is also a break away  room for prayer available.

Above is a photo of Independence Stadium where the open air Festival of Life will taken place this week-end – the lawn is covered with plastic tiles for protection (click on the photos for full view!). If you look closely you will see some prayer warriors on the far side of the field, interceding for the event.

The photo below shows more of the venue. Pray that God will fill each seat and the space in front of the stage. Trust Him that the Holy Spirit will meet every person at their point of need.
Above some more believers in prayer last night. Join them in a spirit of prayer.

• Praise God that it is finally happening. The time is now.
• Praise God for the huge investment in the winning of souls.
• Trust Him that lives will be changed, marriages will be healed, and families will be restored.
• Call His blessing on the event. 
• Pray that churches will follow up and water the seeds being sown.

JOYCE IS IN NAMIBIA

Earlier today Joyce Meyer and her team arrived in Namibia.

This afternoon she met with a number of church and spiritual leaders to appreciate them for working together as one. Together we are building God's Kingdom.

Thursday she will lead two sessions at a leadership training of 2500. (All seats are taken!) Phil Dooley and Matt Fry will share the podium in the training of pastors and leaders.

The two sessions that Joyce will teach on at the Leaders Conference is about -

• Overcoming fear.

• How to deal with opposition in life.

At the two stadium events she will share on -

• Abuse - her story - overcoming and forgiving
• Taking responsibility.

She encouraged the group to be people of integrity; to do what you do with excellence; to keep strife out of your life - anger is an undercurrent in may relationships - no peace ... no power.

Please pray for the visit and these events. 

• Ask the Holy Spirit how to intercede. Trust God for open hearts and minds.
• Trust God for solid Biblical teachings, for changed lives and hope for the future.
• Pray for Hillsong and Spirit lead worship and praise.

We want to see Jesus lifted up!

PREPARE THE WAY FOR THE LORD

A voice of one calling: "In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. This month Christian speaker Joyce Meyer will visit Namibia to train leaders on 26 June and present Festival of Life events on 27 and 28 June.
We believe that God has given us a window of opportunity to trust Him to work, touch and heal many lives.

Join us in prayer as we prepare the way for the LORD.

Praise God for -

• many pastors and volunteers who are already part of the event.
• visible unity amongst many churches.
• bill boards, posters and all media that are carrying invitations to the Festival of Life Namibia 2014.

Trust God for a spiritual climate in Namibia where we will see -

• a powerful move of the Holy Spirit. That where He will leads we will follow.
• greater unity amongst Churches, Ministries and Spiritual Leaders.
• churches, ministries and spiritual leaders taking hands in building God’s Kingdom.
• the Festival of Life events will be attractive to the lost.
• a multitude praising God in intimate worship.
• opens hearts for life-changing messages.
• restore lives, marriages and families.
• people filled with hope for the future.
• churches receiving and disciple new members.

Pray during the preparation phase, for

• energy, favor and wisdom for all of the full-time and part-time staff and the volunteers.
• the preparation, marketing and smooth running of everything for and during these events.
• transport arrangements for people from outside Windhoek and from the informal settlements of the city to the venue.
• arrangements for the direct broadcast of the events.
• many more prayer partners – pray for the build a prayer team all over Namibia
• the event to be a real Festival of Life glorifying God all the time.
